Description
A spacious apartment on two floors situated in a most fantastic position on the top of a hill north of Lucca. Walking distance to a small village. Small private garden furnished for outdoor eating. Shared pool.
From the property you have a marvellous view over the typical Tuscan landscape with olive grows and wine yards. The apartment is a part of a small ancient village built around the main building, an antique villa, dating back to the 1400 century. Once the buildings where the apartment is situated were occupied by the servants, working for the owners of the villa, the noble family Guinigi.
Today all the houses have been restored and changed into 40 high standard apartments but at the moment not many of these are inhabited. A careful restoration has been done preserving the original atmosphere with stones and beamed ceilings and askwed windows.
This is a place where you will find all kind of comfort such as internet, tv and a common swimming pool (7 x 15 mt.1,40 mt deep) in a wonderful position in the park, it is open from 09.30 am until 7.00 pm. Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.
In the ancient villa next door there is a sauna, a small fitness room and an indoor pool (not heated), all at the guests' disposal. (Indoor facilities closed due to covid).
The apartment was originally a barn, it is on two floors but built on a slope so that you can exit from both floors. You enter from a small private furnished garden in to a big and light room which is used as a living/dining room with chair bed and tv, kitchenette (oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, micro, toaster).
On the lower floor there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Parking inside the property, heating, internet.
Other: small food shops, pharmacy, small restaurant in Matraia 200 mt by foot - bakery and pizzeria/restaurant 800 mt - supermarket 5 km.
Distances: Lucca center km. 11 - Pisa km. 35 - Versilia beaches km. 33 - Florence km. 80.

Die Unterkunft liegt super schön in den Bergen. Die Fahrt von und nach Lucca ist ca. 15-20 Minuten. Der Weg vom Parkplatz zieht sich nochmals vor allem mit Gepäck. Allerdings war es auch möglich für kurze Zeit das Auto nahezu direkt an die Unterkunftsee more

The apartment Anna is situated on the first floor in a building with other three apartments and consists of: A spacious living room with high, beamed ceilings and satellite tv. In this room there is also a kitchenette and a dining place (oven, cooker, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, espresso machine).Two spacious double bedrooms each one with its own bathroom with shower, in one of the bathrooms there is a washing machine. The bedrooms are situated on opposite sides of the apartment which makes the place perfect for two couples. From the living room across winding stairs you reach a wooden loft with a double sofa bed. There are mosquito nets in the windows and aircondition in the living room. Parking, heating and internet connection. In the big park that surrounds the houses you will find the swimming pool (7 x 15 mt x 1,40 mt deep). It is shared with the other guests, open 09.00 am until 7.00 pm.
