Description
Indipendent stone house on a small vineyard with shared pool and walking distance to a small village located close to Lucca. Aircondition and wifi.
This is a very small vineyard lying on top of a hill. Situated in the wonderful wine area by Segromigno in Monte, not far from Lucca, it has a spectacular view. The owners produce excellent D.O.C. registered red and white wine and olive oil. In this area are also found the villas of the aristocracy mentioned in guidebooks. This is a rather special and attractive location since vineyards and wonderful outdoors surround the vineyard, yet it lies at the periphery of a small village, where there are stores and places to eat.
The place consists of two stone farmhouses that have been restored into 4 spacious apartments. All have a private entrance and a private, furnished outdoor area right in front of the entrance where one can enjoy the fantastic view.
From the swimming pool, completely fenced, which is 13 by 7 meters with a graduated depth of 1.20 to 1.40 meters, there is a panoramic view. The swimming pool and the surrounding area are shared between all the apartments. Children in the swimming pool and swimming pool area must be under adult supervision at all times. The pool has a brand new ozone depuration system.
There is a Jacuzzi and among the olive trees there are two large Bbq's, a room with a common washing machine and outdoor equipment, outdoor areas for shared usage. Since the terrain is hilly but not mountainous and since the owner's land is extensive, the area is ideal for biking and hiking trips.
Bordo 4 is a small detached house, situated next to the main building, where the three other apartments are. There is a private, unexposed terrace with a fantastic view. The house is quite spacious but with a rather curious placement of the rooms on three levels.
It consists of:
Entry to the large kitchen (dish washer, oven, gas stove, fridge w/freezer compartment, American coffee machine). There is a small hall-like living room with a double sofa bed, satellite tv, stairs up to the imposing living room with large windows facing the view. A double room where the windows are covered by the typical "mandolata", which was a place for the hay to dry at one time, a bathroom with shower (hairdryer). Possibility to put in a small additional bed in one of the rooms.
The interior décor is rustic, as one would expect in Tuscany, simple, but functional.
The original beamed ceilings and the stone floors are retained giving the rooms additional charm.
Central heating, parking, internet wifi available. Use of laundry against payment.
