Villa with private pool within walking distance of the small picturesque town of Barga, in the Garfagnana mountain area, just north of Lucca. Beautiful and unspoiled nature.
The villa, which has belonged to the same family for several generations, is located just on the outskirts of the small town of Barga, which is one of the most beautiful medieval towns in the whole Tuscany.
It is located on a hill and as you walk up towards the cathedral you come across small characteristic alleys, squares and scenes from the Italian everyday life.
In the city, music and cultural events are often held,which has made Barga more and more attractive lately.
The view of the surrounding, wooded mountains is fantastic and the area is perfect for nature lovers as it offers plenty of opportunities for hiking.
In Barga there are also a number of cozy restaurants, pizzerias, shops, bars and shopping opportunities.
The building is on three levels and is very spacious with interiors in a homely and authentic country style.
It consists of:
Entrance on the first floor, living room with fireplace and TV, a kitchen with dining area (oven, gas hob, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, toaster, American coffee maker, micro).
Upstairs where there are wooden floors, there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, one bathroom with bath tub/shower and another bathroom with shower.
From the entrance, along a stair, you reach the ground floor where there is a small apartment with its own exit. It consists of its own small kitchen, a double room, a bathroom with shower. A laundry room with ironing equipment.
Internet wifi and heating available.
In the beautiful garden, which is fenced with hedges, there is a covered gazebo with tables and chairs for meals together outdoors. Here you will also find the private swimming pool of 12 x 6 mt (with a varying depth from [hidden according to Airbnb content policy]mt). Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.
There is barbecue and parking on the property.

La casa è completa di tutto, con spazi notevoli con il mio cane che correva in giardino senza problemi in quanto recintato. Per chi ama il verde ed il relax è il massimo. Il paese di Barga è completo di qualsiasi cosa e nei borghi vecchi è caratteristico di locali molto carini. Esperienza sicuramente da ripetere.

Vi havde en skøn ferie i Barga, huset var flot og fungerede rigtig fint for 3 hold voksne og 1 barn. Pool området samt udeområdet fungerede ligeledes rigtig fint for os. Vi havde kok en aften, en som ejeren kendte, rigtig dejlig mad og skønt at være see more
Vi havde en skøn ferie i Barga, huset var flot og fungerede rigtig fint for 3 hold voksne og 1 barn. Pool området samt udeområdet fungerede ligeledes rigtig fint for os. Vi havde kok en aften, en som ejeren kendte, rigtig dejlig mad og skønt at være på restaurant derhjemme. Han gik meget op i økologi og brugte udelukkende lokale råvarer - super lækkert - han var meget flink, forklarende og serviceminded, og talte perfekt engelsk. Vi sad ude og spiste, hvis vejret havde været dårlig den dag, havde det været lidt svært, da der ikke er spiseplads til 7 indendørs ud over i køkkenet, som kokken skulle bruge til anretning. Familien hsynes det var det bedste restaurant besøg i den uge? Vi var lidt plaget af fluer i køkkenet, måske pga at vejret ikke var så godt i starten af ugen. Vi har været meget fornøjet med jeres service og har allerede anbefalet jer til andre.
