Description
First floor apartment on a centrally located vineyard only 10 km from Lucca. Child friendly play areas. Pool and WIFI. Possiblity to eat on the farm.
This is a vineyard in a magnificent scenery surrounded by 160 hectares of private land of which 20 consists of vineyards. The very central position makes the place a perfect starting-point for those who wish to combine a holiday in the country with excursions to the more famous Tuscan cities such as Florence, Pisa and not at least Lucca itself.
The farm consists of 7 apartments in different sizes situated in the old farm house and in the main building, a villa dating back to the 1200's. In the villa you feel the breath of the past. The ancient terracottafloors, the beamed ceilings and the rustic furniture, all in perfect harmony with the modern comfort.
A great advantage on this place are the owners that are extremely helpful and polite and very focused on the guests' needs. It is possible to buy the wine produced on the farm and other local products. In the basement of the villa , in the ancient wine cellar tasting of local products will be arranged. Must be booked in advance .
The farm is surrounded by a big park with Pine and Magnolia trees. Here you will find furnished areas, a play ground for children and the swimming pool (mt.12 x7, depth 1,35 mt). Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.
La Bia is located on the first floor in the ancient villa and consists of:
Spaious living/dining room with tv and kitchenette (gas hob, fridge with freezer, toaster), a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower. Possibility to add an extra bed in the double bedroom. The interiors are in simlpe but functional style. There are terracotta floors and mix of old and mordern furniture.
Internet wifi, common laundry with coins.
