Description
A characteristic apartment with a spacious private furnished terrace situated on the third floor in one of Lucca's ancient buildings.
In Santa Lucia you live inside the walls, close to the square Piazza San Michele and the main street Via Fillungo with shops, restaurants etc. The apartment has a splendid terrace of 25 m2 where you have a beautiful view over the roofs and all the towers. Here you can grill, eat or just relax reading a book without getting disturbed from the sounds of the city.
The apartment consists of:
hall, kitchen (gas hob, oven, fridge, freezer, Italian and American coffee machines, dishwasher, bread toaster), from the kitchen there is access to the terrace wich is furnished for outdoor eating. Barbecue.
There is a double room, a bedroom with twin beds (both rooms have sloping ceilings), a living room with smart TV, a bathroom with shower and washing machine.
There are cotto tiled floors and beamed ceilings which give the apartment the special Tuscan atmosphere. The interiors are simple but fully functional.
Internet wifi, air conditioning (powerful unit in the living room).
Please note that there are many steep stairs up to the apartment so this place is not suitable for persons with walking problems. We also inform you it is not permitted to go by car to the apartment since the historic centre in Lucca is a restricted traffic zone. Perfect place for those who travel without a car. The railway station and the bus station are within walking distance - but you also have free parking outside the wall ca. 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
Other: shops, restaurants, bars, small supermarket and everything else within very short walkings distance.

This was our 3rd visit to this apartment and we still love it with all it includes inside as well as outside. Lucca is just wonderfull. Many great restaurants. And the service and follow-up of DanItalia is simply fantastic.

Hej! Vi hade en alldeles utmärkt semester i Lucca. Lägenheten ligger perfekt mitt i staden innanför muren. Vilken känsla när man gick ut genom porten rakt ut i folkvimlet! Detta förstärktes ytterligare av att dörren mitt emot gick till stadens bästa bageri "Forno a Vapore Amedeo Giusti". Varje dag startade med inköp av focaccia till frukosten. Sista dagarna blev jag igenkänd av bagaren som stod och måttade på en focaccia! Man kände sig nästan som en Luccabo. Lägenheten var mycket bra och uppfyllde alla förväntningar. Lucca som stad är mycket trevlig med en bra mix av Luccabor och turister. Vidare mycket att uppleva i staden bl.a var vi och lyssnade på en Puccinikonsert i kyrkan "San Giovanni". Lucca är en mycket bra utgångspunkt för resor till andra platser som Firenze, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Pontedera etc. Vi åkte mycket tåg och buss vilket fungerade alldeles utmärkt. I övrigt har kontakt och information från Danitalia fungerat utmärkt och vi kan varmt rekommendera bokning genom dessa.

The location of the apartment in the heart of Lucca is fantastic. All attractions, restaurants, shops and other services are less than 5 minutes' walk away. If Lucca is not enough, the train station is less than 15 minutes away. From there, you can esee more
The location of the apartment in the heart of Lucca is fantastic. All attractions, restaurants, shops and other services are less than 5 minutes' walk away. If Lucca is not enough, the train station is less than 15 minutes away. From there, you can explore all of northern Tuscany by train, e.g. one hour to Florence. The stairs up to the apartment, which is equipped with everything necessary, is a bit steep, but you will be rewarded with a fantastic roof terrace. The weekend may be a bit noisy due to the location in the middle of the city. There's an old printing company close to the apartment worth mentioning in the information binder (via s. GiorgioSanta Giustina) Restaurant list should be updated : Giggi Tratoria , really great place: Piazza Del Carmine 7 Very friendly contact, many helpful information, highly recommended. We always like to come back.
