Description
Spacious apartment with pool on a farm with a restaurant near the city of Lucca.
The farm property extends over an area of 160 hectares (20 of which are cultivated as vineyards), formerly an ancient settlement of monks from the nearby Abbey. The 10 apartments for guests are distributed both in the old villa dating back to 1200 (3 apartments) with its characteristic crenellated tower and in the main building, formerly the farmer's house (7 apartments). A separate building houses the modern wine production cellars (where you can also buy DOC wines produced in small quantities) and the current accommodation of the farmer. The central location and proximity to the main communication routes are ideal for those who want to combine a holiday in the countryside with visits to various locations in Tuscany.
The terracotta floors, fireplaces, traditional furniture blend perfectly with the most modern comforts. Located in the ancient cellar of the Badia is the restaurant where, by reservation, you can enjoy typical dishes of the Tuscan tradition (5% discount for Danitalia customers), with the possibility of guided tastings of the wines produced by the farm also by reservation.
The apartment is located on the ground floor of the main block (former farmer's house) with direct access to the veranda equipped with common areas. Simply furnished in Tuscan style, it consists of: entrance to large living/dining room/kitchen (gas stove, microwave, fridge with freezer, toaster) in one space with two sofa beds, 1 semi-closed double bedroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower cabin and toilet. Heating, TV with DVD player and telephone, wireless internet. Coin-operated laundry.
The farm is surrounded by large green spaces where there are equipped areas with barbecues, the "pinetum", the forest with sequoias, children's playgrounds and also the underground pool with salt purification of 12x7 meters and a depth of 1.35 meters (supervision of children is mandatory).
Utilities: supermarket at 400 meters - station and all services in Altopascio at 2 km - golf course 20 minutes away.
Distances: Pisa 25 km - Lucca 10 km - Florence 65 km - Highway 3 km - Versilia Riviera 30 km - Montecatini Terme 12 km - Collodi Pinocchio Park 14.5 km.
