Here you will find the very sought-after combination of a detached house with its private pool, surrounded by a fenced parklike garden and walking distance to a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. The city of Lucca is only 3.5 km from the house. The road where the house is situated rises among the hills towards Pieve Santo Stefano, where you can visit one of the vineyards or buy olive oil produced in the area. The area is also suitable for hiking tours overlooking vineyards, olive groves and cypresses in typical Tuscan countryside.

Surrounded by lush nature, the house is secluded in a corner of the park close to the entrance. Just in front, there is a wonderful terrace covered with wisteria. Here below you can eat your meals and enjoy the scents and colors. On the other side of the house, more in the shade, there is another outdoor area with table and chairs.

A bit away from the house, in the middle of the child-friendly park and in front of the ancient manor house, where the helpful owner lives, there is a 5 x 10 mt swimming pool with a varying depth from 1.50 mt to 2.30 mt. Around the pool there are sun loungers and parasols. The pool private and is not shared with the owner. Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.

The house is very spacious and is divided into two floors. It consists of:
Entrance from the terrace into a large open space room divided into living room with sofa bed, tv and fireplace and a dining room with long table. A toilet. A large kitchen which is bright and well-equipped (oven, gas stove, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, micro, toaster, kettle, washing machine). Here you can cook your meals together, using delicious Tuscan ingredients. The nearest supermarket has many local products like for example homemade pasta but also very fresh vegetables.

On the first floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, a twin bedroom, a bathroom, a passage room with a stylish single bed, another double bedroom with attached bathroom.
Very special and personal decor with attention to details, a nice mix of modern and ancient Tuscan style. It feels more a real home than a rental home. The owner asks guests not to smoke indoors.

This charming, completely detached country house has the most gorgeous location, situated a little way up a hill with a spectacular view of the Tuscan countryside with vineyards, olive trees, characteristic stone houses and Lucca itself and the intact city wall in the background. It is most captivating.
Because of its unspoiled landscape, the area Pieve Santo Stefano, is one of the most desirable areas around Lucca. Here one feels at peace with nature yet one is close to the city with all its modern conveniences. Additionally there is a good country inn within short distance.

Agli Orti belongs to a manor house dating from the 15th century located 50 meters up the opposite hill, across a country road. This villa is surrounded by a beautiful and well maintained garden as well as a fantastic view.
Here, in the middle of the park is a recessed round swimming pool with a diameters of 10 mt, a depth of 1,40 mt. There is a poolside area with table and chairs. The pool is shared with the owner. Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.

The house has two floors:
The main floor has a large, well-lit living room with a characteristic stove. It also has a large bay window that faces the panoramic view and a tv. The characteristic brick kitchen is of good quality and has an oven, refrigerator, freezer, grill, micro, toaster, Italian moka, kettle and dishwasher. In a small storage room is the washing machine. Bathroom with shower.
On the second floor is a double bedroom with bathroom en-suite (shower), two twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The view from the second floor is even more impressive!
The house is furnished in Tuscan style with terracotta floors and beamed ceilings.
In front of the house there is a covered area with deck furniture and barbecue. From here there is a view towards the valley and Lucca.
