Characteristic, Tuscan country house divided into three apartments, located among the hills north of Lucca. Stunning views, large patio and private swimmingpool. Perfect for a family vacation. WiFi.
This building, dating back to the 16th century is located in a fantastic position among the hills north of Lucca, overlooking the whole valley and the surrounding countryside, characterized by vineyards and olive groves. Here and there you see small stone houses and stately cypresses lining the roads. Just as you imagine when you close your eyes and think about Tuscany. Here you can relax in the peaceful countryside, but you are still not far from Lucca and in a central position to visit the sea or the rest of Tuscany.
The property consists of two buildings facing south which have been restored and converted into 3 separate apartments.
In front of the buildings there is a private garden with flat grass areas and furnished outdoor area with possibility to barbecue. Perfect for fresco meals all together enjoying the fantastic view.
The swimming pool (12 x 6 meter with a depth of 1.40) is located just below the property in a beautiful position overlooking the valley. The pool is completely private and only used by you. Around the pool there are sun loungers. Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.
All three apartments are all very spacious and decorated in a homely, Tuscan style with exposed wooden beams in the ceilings. There is heating and internet wifi in all three.
The property consist of:
Alteca - m2 80 ca. max 4 people. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom.
Entrance into the kitchen (characteristic sink in stone, fridge with freezer, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker), living room with TV and fireplace. One double room, one twin bedroom, one bathroom with shower and washing machine.
Altela - m2 90 ca. max 6 people. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.
This apartment is on the first floor. Since the bedrooms are in two separate areas, it is well suited for two couples.
Entrance along a staircase shared with the apartment upstairs. Kitchen (characteristic sink in stone, fridge with freezer, gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker). Living room with TV and fireplace.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. Het huis is een goed uitgerust en fijn verblijf en het uitzicht is prachtig. Vanuit het huis is er veel te bezichtigen en te doen. Het contact met Elisabeth was goed en professioneel.

This place was absolutely ideal for our family group of 8 adults and 5 kids (aged 7-16). The three spacious apartments provided ample space and privacy for each family and couple, while large common areas and stunning garden allowed us to enjoy dinnesee more
This place was absolutely ideal for our family group of 8 adults and 5 kids (aged 7-16). The three spacious apartments provided ample space and privacy for each family and couple, while large common areas and stunning garden allowed us to enjoy dinners and time together. The garden is breathtakingly beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed the gorgeous views to the valley, scent of flowers, singing of birds, fresh breeze and ripe cherries from the tree by the pool. The kids had endless fun at the pool and discovering fireflies and the frog living in the fountain near entrance. Parking space fitted 4 cars without issues and the location was ideal for day trips to the surrounding cities, villages and beaches. Our stay exceeded our (already high) expectations in every way. Special mention to Silvia, the owner who was extremely lovely, helpful and kind. I can only recommend this property and would love to stay here again with either familyfriends.

The house suited our family of ten adults and one child, perfectly. Clean and quite simple inside, with a large warm pool in the garden, and a terrace with a view to take your breath away. The sound of birdsong from the hills around provided the perfsee more
The house suited our family of ten adults and one child, perfectly. Clean and quite simple inside, with a large warm pool in the garden, and a terrace with a view to take your breath away. The sound of birdsong from the hills around provided the perfect backdrop to that of church bells, dogs barking and cocks crowing, rising from below. All around the house there was the scent of Jasmine and in the evening there were fireflies on the terraces below. A 20 minute drive to walls of the wonderful town of Lucca made visiting for an evening meal very simple. There is a fantastic little shop in Matraia where Severino the butcher carries on the traditions of making the most delicious prize winning hams, salami and sausages. A further 10-12 minute drive gets you to a large supermarket with everything else you might need. A trip to the Osteria di Valgiano is highly recommended also, a family run restaurant, with a delicious set menu, incredibly good value, and again an exceptional view.
