Description
A very charming property located among the hills west of Lucca.Two separate stone houses with private pool. Authentic home in delicious Tuscan style. Bocce and Table tennis.
This lovely property is located in the hills between Lucca and the Versilian coast, with the possibility of reaching the major Tuscan cities of art for day trips. The present owners have made a careful restoration which resulted in a very attractive country-style property, composed of two buildings, where two groups or families may enjoy a stay together while maintaining their independence, as each house offers its own kitchen, a cosy sitting-room and every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. Also all beds can be prepared either as double or as twin beds (please ame request in advance).
The lovely terraced garden, surrounded by an olive grove, offers guests several places to sit outside and is nicely furnished for outdoor meals. The pool was designed to blend perfectly with the Tuscan countryside, and has been placed just outside the barn, with lovely views of the surrounding hills.
Close to both the Apennines and the Apuan Alps, this setting is also excellent for hikers and people who like to walk.
The 12 x 6 meter x 0,8-2,5 meter depth swimming pool is located just below the house, it is designed to blend into the landscape. All around there are comfortable sun loungers.Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times.
As the garden is made of terraces with stairs, the place is not suitable for smaller children or people with walking difficulties.
The main building is for 6 people and consists of:
Ground Floor: very spacious sitting room with dining-area and doors to the outside terrace ideal for outdoor meals, kitchen, guest bathroom.
First Floor: double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bathtub), double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (large shower), double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bathtub), three steps below.
The guest house is for 4 people and consists of:
Ground Floor: breakfast room opening to the outside at the pool level kitchen, bathroom (shower).
First Floor: sitting room with piano, twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bathtub and separate shower), double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower).
Furnished terrace perfect for fresco meals together. There is also a large brick oven/barbecuel where you can grill your delicious Tuscan t-bone steak.
Other: cleaning service 9 hours/week included - restaurant km. 4,5.
